Job Description - Cost Analysis Team Leader (MER0003GZD)
Mercedes-Benz Group Services Poland (MBGSPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. As a Finance Operations Center for the AG and its subsidiaries, we offer innovative solutions in the areas of finance and controlling. Founded in 2024, we are currently in a strong development phase and want to develop quickly to contribute to the economic success of the Group in Krakow.
Become part of our management team as soon as possible and take on a leading role in the area of Product Costing!
These are your tasks:
1. Content-related contact person and responsible for asset accounting at Mercedes-Benz AG and Mercedes-Benz Group AG
2.
Professional and disciplinary management of approx. 15 employees
3. Recruitment and formation of a team for product costing
4. Technical contact person for the relocation of product costing processes to Krakow in close coordination with the contact persons of the transferring centers/departments and project management
5. Periodic valuation (planned costing) of vehicles and units for series production for the Mercedes Benz Cars division - Analysis of the results and reconciliation of periodic changes
6. Development of required process documentation for the transferred processes and establishment of stable knowledge management
7. Development of a work organization and establishment of a cooperation model with the downstream closing managers at Mercedes Benz AG
8. Management of the operational area of responsibility based on meaningful key figures and reporting to divisional management
9. Supporting the development of work instructions and guidelines
10. Implementation, documentation, and continuous development of the internal control system (ICS)
11. Active promotion of continuous improvement processes (CIP)

1. Possibility of mobile working - currently 3 days presence and 2 days possibility to work remotely

Qualifications:
1. Initial management experience (technical and disciplinary), ideally in an accounting function
2. Technical and disciplinary management experience and extensive overall understanding of business administration through several years of professional experience in accounting as well as routine handling of common data analysis instruments (e.g. target/actual comparison)
3. Education: Degree in economics (Uni/FH/BA) or comparable education
4. Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), at best experience in SAP R/3
5.
Good knowledge of German as well as good written and spoken English
6. Individuality: Appreciation, empathy and enthusiasm for working with people, diligence, even with a temporarily high workload
7. Ability to work independently and responsibly, ability to understand and analyze processes quickly
8. Communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility
