The opportunity: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) consists of various service delivery centers from which Client Service and Enablement Services teams operate to deliver strategic support to EY member firms. The position in discussion is with the P&CE; in EY GDS MARKETS Function. The GDS P&CE; serves as an extension to the onshore Deals team involved in the direct Bid Management Processes, supporting the onshore teams on opportunities and adding value during the Deal process or bid management cycle.





The Deal Support Specialist - Supervising Associate provides support in the different phases of the Deal process, assisting the Pursuit Strategist/Leader in all stages of the Bid Management Process, including pre-RFP, RFP response, and post-RFP phases. Activities include project management, research, review, and analytical support for the onshore Deal team throughout the bid management cycle.

Your key responsibilities

Strategic Pursuit and Opportunity Management:

- Gather information through secondary research (both internal and external sources) and generate deliverables such as company profiles, competitor insights, trend analysis, and other valuable assets to support proposal development phases.
- Prepare and drive project management plans throughout the deal cycle, managing the end-to-end process, including organizing meetings, preparing meeting notes, and finalizing timelines and accountabilities.
- Prepare kick-off documents, CV collation for team book, orals preparation, and credentials pack. Support in the development of draft proposal sections based on deal requirements.




- Liaise with the broader team in developing client collaterals such as storyboards, placemats, proposals, and internal presentations.
- Establish and maintain clear communication and build strong stakeholder relationships by exhibiting professionalism and adhering to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Manage a repository of Regional, Market Segment, or Service Line client-facing collateral as appropriate.
- Exhibit innovative thinking and a flexible approach while managing complex and out-of-scope requests.
- Maintain a repository of client presentations, RFQ responses, marketing collateral, etc.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate critical thinking, organization, detail-orientation, and strong analytical skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service skills including support via telephone, MS Teams, and email.

Supervision Responsibilities:





- Supervise direct reports and lead a region, stakeholder management, and governance.
- Act as a counselor for Pursuit Coordinators (Senior Associate and Associate Ranks).
- Conduct quality reviews of deliverables.

Skills and attributes for success

- Prior experience in Deals/pre-sales/bid management and project management.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
- Good business acumen and understanding of business development, deal/project management, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based research.
- Experience with SharePoint is desirable.
- Able to build collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Education:

- University/bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s in business administration.





Experience:

- 6 to 11 years of experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with large global organizations, preferably in a professional services firm.
- Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential as the role requires direct communication with international team members.
- Well-versed in using MS Office.

Certification Requirements:

- Expected to remain current on EY training and curriculum (e.g., Account Management Framework (AMF), Badges, etc.).
- APMP and/or PMP Certification would be an added advantage.

Ideally, you’ll also have

- As the job involves responding to clients' needs and varying time zones, long/flexible hours are regularly required.




- Moderate travel required for attending leadership meetings/trainings.

Technologies and Tools

- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically PowerPoint, are required.
