CT Platform Business Modules Layer Lead - Director

The opportunity
To be responsible for championing the Voice of Customer while leading a portfolio of inter-related Business Modules offered as reusable products and services consumed within the organization.
To be accountable for end-to-end product management and delivery across the portfolio, acting as the glue between business, developers, and technology.
To lead a team to cover multiple disciplines: strategy & architecture, experience design, engineering & development, program execution, and operations.
To assess the portfolio’s level of success and seize opportunities for greater growth, efficiency, and reuse, while balancing potential risks and tradeoffs.
To understand deeply the market dynamics, technology trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to ensure differentiated value.
To conduct continuous lifecycle management of solutions, platforms, products, capabilities, and enablers/accelerators to address changing business needs in a highly dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- End to end accountability for all aspects related to managing the Business Modules Layer of EY Fabric, including:
- Product Management
- Architecture
- Platform Engineering
- Agile Product Delivery
- Business management (talent, financials -P&L-;, communications, KPIs, etc)
- Development of a Solution Integrators ecosystem
- Service Experience Management
- Work side by side with other Family Leaders and Fabric Leadership to ensure synergies and a seamless experience across the whole Platform
- Ensure the voice of the customer is properly accounted for in designing the portfolio of related platform products and services
- Maintain profit and losses for the Business Modules portfolio within expected parameters
- Ensure the Business Modules portfolio supports the organization’s overall vision and goals by driving strategy, prioritizing and managing the product portfolio and executing the roadmap
- Align criteria and requirements based on market research, overarching EY Technology and EY Fabric strategies, platform telemetry, as well as user feedback
- Ensure the proper mechanisms exist to assist marketing teams in conveying the Business Modules Layer’s value proposition and developing tools that support the technical sales and client onboarding cycles
- Provide regular updates about product direction and release plans to Senior Partners and strategic customers
- Guide the multi-disciplinary Business Modules Layer team to:
- Anticipate changes in market dynamics, introduce and adapt products, build product retirement and transitioning strategies
- Partner with internal customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums (analysis, meetings, focus groups, etc.) and refine those requirements for broad market applicability
- Develop and measure performance measures to assess the success of products and features, incorporating critical improvements
- Execute on product plans, collaborating with other business and technology (developers, architects, engineers) teams to achieve maximum results
- Deliver the highest quality technology solutions, following industry,
EY technology, EY Fabric, architecture, and security standards
- Identify and implement most appropriate technology solutions to meet business needs, including evaluating Reuse, Buy or Build decisions
- Maintains stakeholder engagement through recurring product and system demos
- Through the collaboration of user experience designers, business analysts and engineers, maintain a focus on defining product functionality that brings differentiating value to our current and prospective clients
- Ensure successful product launches, including campaigns and training materials, as well as proper organizational readiness exists across all teams to deliver a well planned and executed go-to-market strategy
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure the Business Modules Layer is an ecosystem of seamlessly integrated best-of-breed components.
