How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?As a Reporting Team Lead at Air Liquide, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support key business decisions.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain various reports and dashboards, helping to provide insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.
This position reports directly to the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Reporting Team Lead is responsible for coordinating Reporting team activities and special projects.Comply with AL Policies and Values.Responsible for contributing to achieving the team metrics.Responsible for the review of the following Reporting processes:Provide Guidelines / Standardization.Track Performance / KPI.Monthly, quarterly and annually Reports.Forecast process.Central Point of Contact.Approve MJE and Reconciliations.Review or perform the process of the Financial Statement.Responsible for detecting, analyzing and escalating all process and accounting tasks that are not working properly or need to be improved.Collaborate with Supervisor/Managers in different tasks keeping a smooth communication process with Stakeholders.Responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of controls.Main and first point of contact for analysts.Coordinate the activities of the analysts.
People management.Coaching and training of his/her team members.Assist management in the administration of the team resources (leaves, exams, vacations).Set up goals and discuss performances with the analyst.
Support Management.Work on succession plans (detect potential candidates and develop strategies).Active participation in projects and transitions.Participate and/or coordinate teams with the objective of writing, updating and defining SOP / DTPs.Be actively part of the recruiting process for new employees.
Support Management.Design and develop training programs on as needed basis.
Support Management.OutputsContinuous Improvement expertCustomer relationship.Daily and monthly deliverables.Timely communication to appropriate parties of issues.Talent management.Project deliverables.Follow up to escalated issues within a reasonable time frame.Are you a MATCH?QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, International Trade or Business Administration preferred.
Experience & Qualifications:
Must have previous reporting experience.
General ledger, intercompany,
cash applications or fixed asset experience is a plus.Experience in team activities.Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports.Knowledge in accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines.Overtime is required during month end close and occasionally at other times, possibly with little advance notice.Language Requirements:
English: Advanced proficiency required [B2/C1]Spanish mandatoryKnowledge and Skills:
