What this job involves
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Facility Coordinator Jr. to join our team:
**Location**: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
**Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
**Work model**: On site (1 day per week from home).
**Contract Type**: Indefinite-term.
The Facility Coordinator will provide support to the Site and/or Assistant Facility Managers with operational activities in maintenance and operations, accounting and finance, vendor oversight, equipment, and supplies, occupancy services, and proactive development and maintenance of client relationships ensuring that expected service levels are achieved.
What is your day to day?
Coordinate maintenance activities with on-site service providers, including scheduling and overseeing preventive maintenance tasks performed by vendors.
Maintain an updated maintenance system,
including closing work orders and updating CMMS information for all building operating systems.
Manage the maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, generators, and general infrastructure and furniture, ensuring successful operation and compliance with health and safety policies.
Manage installations of new or replacement equipment and maintain an inventory of parts and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary.
Assist with operational recommendations and process improvements to optimize facility performance.
Interact with customers in a professional and customer-centric manner, responding to service requests and ensuring satisfaction.
Supervise a professional maintenance team, fostering teamwork and performance excellence.
Manage operational reporting, budgeting, financial systems, and purchasing, identifying and responding to financial or budgeting-related issues.
Seek ways to reduce costs and improve operational standards, ensuring profitability and cost control.
**Required**:
Student or graduate of Engineering, Architecture or Technical School.
1-2 years of experience in vendor management.
Understanding of basic technical aspects of property, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, is advantageous.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate level of English is required for effective communication, both in written and verbal interactions.
