What’s the opportunity?
We are looking for a Tax Support Associate based in Argentina, who will prepare the working papers for the presentation of Argentine companies' tax obligations (national, provincial, and local).
What will I be doing?
1. Provide support for the settlement of monthly taxes, such as VAT, IIBB, and SICORE;
2. Prepare consolidated information on withholdings, earnings, and tax payments related to collection and withholding regimes;
3. Reconciliation of tax accounts;
4. Prepare a file report for submission to the National and Local Treasury;
5. Analysis of Argentine Tax obligations;
6. Analysis and interpretation of tax regulations.
We focus on a tax and analytical profile.
You will work with a Regional Tax Specialist and a Head of Global Transactions Taxes.
What skills do I need?
1. Bachelors or student in Accounting or similar fields.
2. Computer literacy: Tax analysts work with digital forms and online tax systems, which requires good computer skills.
3. Analytical thinking: Tax analysts create very detailed tax reports.
4. Attention to detail: every number on every tax form must be precise and accurate, tax analysts need excellent attention to detail to make sure all paperwork is perfect.
5. Communication skills: tax analysts make recommendations and explain tax processes, which requires good verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
6. Time management:
tax analysts use strong time management to meet all tax deadlines.
