The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Android Developer to work on a project for one of our customers in Georgia.
The customer is the first fully digital neobank in Georgia, existing solely on mobile phones.
Since 2015, the company has been providing convenient and secure financial services, including quick loans, money transfers, utility payments, and card management, all without bureaucracy or hidden fees.
The company became Georgia's first digital bank in 2018 and is among the world's largest neobanks, alongside Chime (USA), Nubank (Brazil), and Kakao Bank (South Korea).
The project involves redesigning the existing mobile application, participating in customizations for various clients, and developing new features.
Tech stack on the project: Jetpack Compose, JUnit, Espresso, Kotlin, Clean Architecture, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, Git, GitHub Actions, Bitrise.
ResponsibilitiesRedesigning the existing mobile application.Developing and maintaining UI and unit tests to ensure the quality and stability of the application.Implementing modern architectural approaches to improve the performance and scalability of the application.Collaborating closely with the development team to integrate new features and enhancements.Preparing and maintaining technical documentation for the project.Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve code quality.Analyzing and optimizing existing code to enhance efficiency and performance.Ensuring the application meets security and data privacy requirements.RequirementsExperience as an Android Developer from 2-4 years.Strong skills in developing user interfaces with Jetpack Compose,
including creating custom components and adapting existing ones.Understanding of Clean Architecture principles and the ability to apply them in designing the app's architecture to ensure scalability and testability.Ability to write and maintain tests using tools such as JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing to ensure code quality.Deep knowledge of the Kotlin programming language, including syntax, standard libraries, and design patterns.Experience using components like ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, and Room.Understanding UX/UI Design Principles.Ability to interact with remote APIs and handle responses using libraries like Retrofit.Experience with Git and an understanding of collaborative development processes.Knowledge of tools for automating the build and deployment of applications (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Level of English – from Intermediate and above.Desired skillsExperience with Koin for dependency injection,
including integration with Android components (e.g., ViewModels, WorkManager).Understanding of Koin's lifecycle management (single, factory, scoped) in Clean Architecture.Experience in teamwork with leaders in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and others.We will be glad to see you!
