Role/Responsibilities

1. Screening Research Associate will perform risk management investigation and reporting tasks in addition to financial-performance and anti-money laundering analysis.
2. Perform structured searches of various public and non-public Internet sources to help determine an entity’s potential level of risk across several risk categories and use this research to build reports sent directly to clients.
3.



Work independently on planned tasks for the majority of the day within the setting of a team working towards common goals.
4. Provide professional, responsive service to all client service requests/interactions.
5. Resolve client issues and provide exceptional question resolution.
6. Communicate extensively with Operations Director, IT staff, and peers as an advocate to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

1. Acute attention to detail
2. Proficient with computers, navigation of the Internet, and search engines
3. Ability to work autonomously and use critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
4. Ability to communicate effectively within a group
5. Selective Attention — The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
6. Comfortable learning a new technology
7. Familiarity with legal and financial terminology preferred
8. Excellent communication/presentation skills
9. Effective written communication skills
10. 2-3 years of business experience
11. Bachelor’s degree

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination on start date, as determined by Moody’s.

For San Francisco positions, qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity, pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Salary and Benefits

For Colorado-based roles only: the anticipated base salary range for this position is $43,300 to $63,800, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual performance incentive compensation.
