The Project is located in an area of geographical altitude (4000 meters above sea level). The work condition will be under roster.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead an interdisciplinary team of personnel (Construction, Commissioning, Quality, HSE, Environment, Planning and Cost Control, Camp Management, General Services).
2. Manage relationships with Subcontractors and Customers.
3. Monitor workbooks and control the writing of Service Orders and Order Notes as needed.
4. Monitor HSE, QA/QC,
and Environment deviations ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
5. Report to the company and directly to the Project PM.
6. Maintain relationships with functional areas of the Company.
7. Track physical progress and certifications.
8. Participate in periodic meetings.
Provides direction and project management related to construction to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
Makes independent decisions and recommendations in the course of managing multiple functional disciplines or a significant size project. Develops and oversees implementation of strategic programs and policies for their groups, which may impact the region, location, or large project. Ability to manage multiple complex projects through others; works frequently with location and regional management on significant matters influencing business results.
Minimum Requirements:
University Degree, or equivalent,
in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically, 20+ years relevant experience with significant project management experience.
The applicant must have knowledge of Project Management (PMP knowledge), Contract Administration, Leadership of Multidisciplinary Teams, planning, quality control, HSE, and Environment, good interpersonal relations, management of contractors and reports, and dealing with the Customer. Fluent in English is mandatory.
