ETL Testing Lead - EY Global Delivery Services

The opportunity:
1. Designs, develops, and oversees the maintenance of processes and approaches to ensure quality standards of products and services.
2. Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate,
recommend, and implement complex test cases.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Leads the delivery of test plans to ensure product quality, setting project timelines and monitoring the activities of other testers.
2. Designs, develops, and supports test cases for functional and non-functional domains, solving escalated issues and resolving issues that may impede the test effort.
3. Leads on the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepares test plans, identifies relevant metrics, and keeps track of required effort for small initiatives.
4. Manages the execution of test reports and reviews and interprets recommendations for product or design changes.
5. Defines and reviews internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
6. Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend, and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components, or modifications.
Skills and attributes for success:
1. Extensive understanding of the testing lifecycle and agile frameworks.
2. Comprehensive,
end-to-end understanding of the IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial).
3. Expert knowledge of Quality Management techniques.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
1. Profound knowledge of SQL and ETL testing.
2. Working knowledge of Power BI reports.
3. Working experience in testing in Database and system integration testing.
4. Knowledge of Azure DevOps (Requirements and test plan management).
5. Profound knowledge of Agile process.
6. Profound knowledge of STLC (Software testing lifecycle).
7. Profound knowledge of defect management and reporting.
8. Test design and test execution skills.
9. Strong communication and soft skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
1. Knowledge of Azure data factory, data lake.
2. Working knowledge of creating data sets and modules.
3. Prior experience as a QA lead.
4.
Automation testing (based on requirements).
Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience as a QA and 2+ years of experience as a QA lead (good to have).
2. 3+ years of experience working with SQL and DB.
3. At least 1 year of experience working with Power BI reports (good to have).
