The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for prospecting to generate leads and opportunities for sales agents.
60% of your efforts will be spent qualifying the Company's outbound leads through phone and email follow-ups.
The goal of your conversations is account qualification and to set discovery conversations for respective sales agents.
40% of your time will be spent analyzing the market and outbound phone and email campaigns with the goal of uncovering viable conversations for sales agents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate new sales opportunities.Build outbound campaigns and establish initial contact with key decision makers, setting conversations for internal sales agents.Uncover, qualify, nurture, and build the sales opportunity pipeline for our sales agents.Identify basic alignment between prospect challenges and the Company's capabilities, then hand off qualified opportunities to sales agents.Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in the Company.Effectively segment prospects based upon current market and opportunity sizing.Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone and email, converting suspects to prospects.Partner with our experienced sales agents to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills.Meet daily and weekly activity-based metrics (dials, conversations, qualified opportunities) logged into CRM.Manage prospecting status and forecasting in CRM.
