The opportunity
The incumbent in this role is expected to manage the Total Rewards activities for GDS Argentina, being responsible for the entire life cycle of compensation activities, benchmarking and market intelligence, among others.
This is a temporary role, for 6 months.
Your key responsibilities
1.
Responsible for the entire life cycle of compensation activities ranging from compensation benchmarking, budgeting, increase and bonus cycles.
2. Accountable to build and tap existing networks for sources of market intelligence.
3. Effectively partner with HR colleagues and business clients to manage and consult on compensation and benefit-related issues.
4. Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate fixed pay and variable pay levels.
5. Perform ad hoc analysis for costing, program effectiveness and trend purposes.
6. Identify, select and participate in compensation and benefits surveys to analyze the company’s competitive market position for each in-country location.
7. Conduct custom compensation and benefits surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
8. Proactively look for strategic compensation solutions addressing compensation needs of diverse businesses that impact the entire organization.
9.
Liaise with market stakeholders to bring perspectives on market benchmarking/survey.
10. Constantly monitor the policies and recommend changes with a big picture view of impact to budgets, people, processes and technology.
11. Help in the change management process and communicate the same to the larger employee base.
12. Drive events for all GDS employees, such as monthly birthdays.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10+ years of experience in HR roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR-related areas.
- Work experience in HR transformation programs and working as part of a global distributed team.
- Analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel,
Word and PowerPoint.
