Public Sector Account Manager, AGS-LATAM-PS

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing Public Sector accounts in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay? Do you have the business savvy, executive relationship and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As a Public Sector Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in public sector accounts.
The candidate should possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the Director, Minister and CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against account plans and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Drive revenue and market share in a defined account list or industry vertical.
2. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
4. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
5. Accelerate customer adoption by engaging with C-level and different stakeholders.
6. Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
7. Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
8. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Technology related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.
- Strong written communications and presentation skills,
with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers.
- Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as consultant, solutions/sales engineer or solutions architecture.
- Fluency to speak and write in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background working in a public sector industry (such as government, healthcare, defense, education or other public sector bodies).
- SaaS/Cloud experience.
