You will perform ongoing analysis of the business' risk and control environment to identify significant gaps and weaknesses, ensuring controls are properly designed.
Also,
you'll be responsible for ensuring the line of business has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment, identifying and escalating issues with a sense of urgency, and partnering with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner.
The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.
**These are some of the activities you will be responsible for**:
- Partnering with the business control managers to identify risks and associated controls in support of the Firm's control framework programs.
- Assisting in the design, and upload of appropriate triggers and metrics to support risk identification, control evaluation and regular reporting and presentation to management.
- Supporting risk-based process reviews and pre/post audit reviews.
- Working on ad hoc control agenda initiatives including risk-based process reviews.
- Working on Internal Audit and Operational Risk during audits/reviews as needed.
- Participating in monthly/quarterly meetings with business partners based on a control agenda.
**What do we ask for this position?**:
- University's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power
Point) is preferred.
- Understanding of end to end control process and reporting requirements
