We are looking for a Commercial Deployment Sr Specialist in Buenos Aires to join our Philip Morris Global Business Solutions (GBS), who is supporting Global Duty-Free operations in Whole LATAM and US DF Markerts. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that is instrumental in shaping the long-term strategies of our Multi-category driven business within the Global Duty-Free Organization. As a Commercial Deployment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the deployment of consumer-centric products and projects, ensuring our continued leadership in the Duty-Free market worldwide. You will be an integral part of the Global Business Solutions Hub, contributing to our mission of delivering excellence.
The main goal is to be coordinator and the executer of all commercial related activities; deployment of portfolio execution, retail format, visual merchandising projects, online offline content management, organizational development initiations and other commercial executions with deep commercial business acumen. This can be achieved through excellent project management, constant alignment with powerful negotiation with customers, markets, functions and OC Teams.
Maintaining good relationships with all interacted parties with high interpersonal savvy and stakeholder management. Creating efficiency for function/department and sharing expertise and implementing it to different markets.
“Your Day to Day”
Coordination Support:
- With deep expertise and business acumen, support the GBS teams with guidance to reach operational excellence
Actively follow, appraise and control in order to level of service performance, take and coordinate necessary actions for better executions within the function/department.
Executional Support:
- Portfolio Execution Support: Report post-launch evolution, support and coordinate with other functions in minimizing LOGD/Obsoletes, clarify the portfolio, get necessary approvals from legal, EA, Distribution and HQ Communications Teams.
- Offline/Online Content Deployment: Request final brief from HQ Marketing team, review translations, brief local agency, keep track of budget
- Retail Infrastructure Deployment: Prepare full project scope plans, keep track of all infrastructure projects, evaluate performance
- Visual Merchandising Deployment: Define and communicate the merchandising guidelines, liaise with local supplier for product highlight, record production timings, plan and coordinate shipping and installation
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyse business operation, propose actions in order to improve the process, operation and organize the implementation if required. Eliminate unnecessary steps of flow,
maximize improvement opportunities as well as promote new global tools and initiatives in line with commercial business plans while securing effective meeting and optimum business plans.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationship with internal and external key stake holders through regular meetings, based on the consumer needs and effective business plans.
These can be achieved through:
- Excellent project management skills
- Constant alignment with Operation Center Portfolio, Marketing, Channel Development, Operations, Customer Development and B2B and B2C.
- Maintaining good relationships with all interacted parties, high interpersonal savvy.
Who we’re looking for:
- Hold a university degree
- Min 2+ years of experience in GBS commercial functions, or total 5 years of experience in other commercial departments preferably in PMI for specialist position.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention for detail with resilience.
- Are collaborative, a team player, customer oriented and a quick learner.
- Have solid understanding of activity resource planning and good understanding of key trade marketing concepts like merchandising & visibility solutions.
- Have Project Management and Trade Marketing competency. Having any valid project management certification is a plus.
- Ideally have Reduced Risk Product Acumen, Combustible Acumen, Merchandising & Visibility Solutions, Project Management, Retail Format Execution, Service oriented/ collaboration, Vendor Management.
- Have knowledge of technologies and tools such as MS Office, specific training will be delivered for DF software tools we are using.
