Country Manager for Peru
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager for Peru to lead and oversee all commercial activities in the country.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agribusiness, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in commercial management.
About Beeflow:
Beeflow is a biotech startup that improves crop yields through optimized pollination. Using scientific knowledge of bee biology, crop pollination, and chemical ecology, Beeflow trains bees to pollinate specific crops and enhances their immune systems with a plant-based diet.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objectives and drive commercial growth in Peru.
2. Sales and Business Development: Lead sales efforts, including identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with growers based on trust and understanding their needs.
4. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including logistics, supply chain, and service delivery.
5. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team to support commercial and operational goals.
6. Financial Management: Develop and manage the country budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture or related field.
MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial management, sales, or business development in agribusiness.
Experience with blueberries is highly desirable.
