About the Job
Miwa Events is looking for a full-time contractor based in Buenos Aires to take charge of local partnerships, client sourcing, and full event production . This contract runs from now until December , with the potential for a full-time role afterward. If you're proactive, fluent in English, and know your way around tech events , we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do (AKA How You'll Make Magic Happen)
- Find and lock in local partnerships —brands, sponsors, vendors, you name it.
- Bring in new clients —help Miwa Events expand in Buenos Aires (and worldwide).
- Own the event process from start to finish —from strategy to execution.
- Negotiate contracts like a boss —we love a good deal.
- Develop creative marketing strategies —visibility is key.
- Travel when needed —we're all about scouting out the best spots.
What You Bring (Besides a Good Attitude)
- Fluent English & Spanish (Bonus points for additional language - French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean!)
- Solid production history —you've pulled off numerous 50–100+ attendee events successfully.
- An established network in Buenos Aires —you know who's who in business, tech, and Web3.
- Marketing savvy —social media, branding, and growth strategies are a plus.
- Hardworking, results-driven mindset —you take initiative and get things done.
- Tech adaptability —you learn new software quickly and aren't intimidated by tools.
- Strong organization skills —you can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
- Independent thinker but great team player —you can work solo or with a crew.
- Low ego, high accountability —open to feedback and always striving for better.
- A natural negotiator —you're great at closing deals, bringing in partners, and securing sponsorships.
- Quick problem-solving skills —things will go wrong, and you'll figure out how to fix them fast.

Compensation & Perks
