Job Title : Assistant Community Manager

Location : Remote (MST Time Zone)

Salary Range : up to 1800 USD

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (MST)

Additional Availability : Occasionally required for HOA board meetings

Monday Thursday | 4 : 00 PM 8 : 00 PM (MST), held via Zoom

About the Company :

Sagan represents a leading property management firm dedicated to providing exceptional community management services. Their team supports homeowners' associations (HOAs) by ensuring smooth operations, clear communication, and excellent service for board members and residents.

Position Overview :

The Assistant Community Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the HOA. This role involves direct communication with homeowners and board members, organizing records, and handling administrative tasks to keep the community running smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with technology, with a strong ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Serve as a primary point of contact for HOA owners and board members, managing inquiries and communication.
- Maintain and organize community records, documents, and files efficiently.
- Draft and distribute updates, announcements,



and meeting minutes as needed.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and managing community-related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with HOA regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize technology tools such as Vantaca, Google Docs, Word, Excel / Sheets, and Slack to streamline tasks.
- Support the Community Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and addressing community concerns.
- Work independently while staying aligned with team goals and expectations.

Qualifications :

- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience in administrative support, customer service, or community management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Word, Excel / Sheets, Slack, and file-sharing platforms (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).




- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote work environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Haves :

- Prior experience in HOA management or property administration.
- Experience with Appfolio.
- Familiarity with HOA bylaws, regulations, and best practices.
- A proactive attitude anticipating needs and suggesting improvements.
