We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager – New Product Development to lead the development and launch of multiple architectural and lighting products simultaneously. This role will manage the product lifecycle from concept to market launch while maintaining alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate will oversee the product roadmap and contribute to product management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of inspiring products that meet market demands.
Main Job Responsibilities
1. Project Management:
Lead the development of multiple architectural and lighting products concurrently, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to cost targets.
Create and manage detailed project plans, task lists, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, programming, and marketing) to drive project success.
Monitor progress through regular status updates and adjust plans as needed to address challenges or shifting priorities.
Proactively identify and monitor critical path activities and follow up with team members to ensure projects stay on track.
2. Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with leadership and product managers to define and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company objectives.
Act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the product development process.
Foster strong relationships with all departments and stakeholders related to the execution of project goals.
Communicate project objectives clearly across all levels of the organization.
3. Process Management and Improvement:
Develop and manage the SOP and governance for new product project execution and identify opportunities for process optimization in product development workflows.
Measure and regularly report on key results related to project execution and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage and enforce standards for file and document organization, distribution, and nomenclature.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Engineering, Design, Business, Technology, or a related field.
2.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing new product development projects in the building products or design industry.
3. Advanced level of English.
4. Proven track record of successfully launching multiple products simultaneously from concept to completion.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing, architectural systems, or lighting products is highly desirable.
6. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Clickup, MS Project, Asana).
7. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
8. Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities with a resourceful approach to overcoming challenges.
10.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
