About The Opportunity
Netrix Global is looking for a Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer will be responsible for identifying, creating, analyzing, and preparing data required for modern BI and ML solutions. Candidates for this position must be customer-focused, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and be hands-on. This role will report to the Manager, Data Intelligence.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Identifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern BI solutions
- Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations
- Designing and managing Datalakes architectures
- Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.)
- Integrating and testing BI solutions
- Creating and documenting the tests to meet requirements
- Working with Big Data Environments
- Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security, and governance
- Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Experience in Data Engineer role and tasks such as ETL, Big Data, data ingest, data streaming
- Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other data processing tools
- Fluent English Level
- Experience using AWS (S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.) or Azure Data services
- Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
- Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
