Our client is creating a unique approach to technology services, combining design, marketing, and engineering in a studio-like environment. Based in Toronto’s Financial District, though primarily remote, they prioritize delivering high-quality work while maintaining a sense of calm and support for their clients. They value dedication, integrity, and thoughtful teamwork, aiming to provide a peaceful yet productive work atmosphere. Currently, they are looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist with a strong background in Reddit content management to help shape and execute successful content strategies,
focusing on organization and planning to maximize impact.
Who we’re looking for
Right now, we’re looking for someone with experience bridging the gap between our clients and our Reddit marketing agency, ensuring smooth social media strategy planning and execution.
In this role, you’ll be joining our team on a dual role of social media specialist and virtual assistant, who’s eager to help new and existing clients plan, strategize, execute and support their social media efforts on Reddit. Responsibilities will include:
1. Assist in developing and executing Reddit marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
2. Create, schedule, and publish compelling content across the Reddit platform (multiple subreddits).
3. Monitor Reddit trends, identify opportunities, and suggest creative ideas to enhance our client’s Reddit presence.
4. Engage on posts, respond to comments/messages, and foster an active community within our client’s branded subreddits.
5. Track and analyze Reddit performance using the metrics provided.
6.
Support outreach and partnerships to expand our reach.
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across SSTL to ensure Reddit marketing efforts support internal and external business goals.
The person we’re looking for is calm and easy to get along with. They’re flexible on anything except conceits that will lower their usually outstanding work quality. They work “smart”, by carefully managing their workflow and staggering features that have dependencies intelligently — they have an internal sense of agency and will help set the heartbeat for the rest of the team.
We believe people with backgrounds or interests in design, art, music, food, or fashion tend to have a well-rounded sense of design & quality — so a variety of hobbies or side projects is a big nice to have!
Must have Competencies:
1. Experience with Reddit as a platform.
Personal experience posting and/or have an account with >100 karma.
2. By default, you’re sarcastic and/or hilarious.
3. Excellent copywriting skills.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and suggest improvements.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
6. Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Competencies:

1. Social media marketing, as a content creator or marketer.
2. Experience using proxies and services like gologin or adspower.
3. Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment.
