About The OpportunityNetrix Global is looking for a Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for identifying, creating, analyzing, and preparing data required for modern BI and ML solutions.
Candidates for this position must be customer-focused, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and be hands-on.
This role will report to the Manager, Data Intelligence.
How You Will Make An ImpactIdentifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern BI solutionsDesigning ETLs and ELTs for data transformationsDesigning and managing Datalakes architecturesWorking with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.
)Integrating and testing BI solutionsCreating and documenting the tests to meet requirementsWorking with Big Data EnvironmentsManaging Data Cloud services, data access, security, and governanceManaging monitoring and logs of applications and servicesWhat You Will Bring To The TableExperience in Data Engineer role and tasks such as ETL, Big Data, data ingest, data streamingExperience working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Knowledge of Python, R, or other data processing toolsFluent English LevelExperience using AWS (S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.)
or Azure Data servicesExperience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines)Experience working in an Agile Scrum teamExperience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
