Job Description:As our Market Access Associate Director (LAS) you will lead the affiliate Market Access team to achieve long term agreed objectives and annual performance goals, and have the overall responsibility for patients’ access to current and future products in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. You'll be responsible for assimilating global information and adapting it locally to support market access (private and public), pricing and reimbursement at a national and regional level,
and creating and implementing affiliate driven health authority strategies.Planning and managing market access and pricing activities for in-line and launch products for the LAS markets will be your primary responsibility, and to achieve it the following will be required:- Leading the strategies and/or development of reimbursement/value dossiers for the National Reimbursement Authority and other stakeholders (e.g. Regional reimbursement authorities, hospitals), development / implementation of economic cost-effectiveness and budget impact models and management of regular reference pricing reviews;- Work closely with regulatory affairs, policy, medical affairs and commercial teams as well as the regional/BIR team to ensure that market access programs are in line with the overarching Biogen strategies;- Develop a culture of excellence and build key capabilities to meet the current and future market;- Develop market access communications for internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:- Bachelor Degree;- Fluent English and Spanish;- Mobility to live in Buenos Aires (2-3 times a week in the office is required);- A minimum of 5 years in a similar function in the pharmaceutical industry,
including experience in the market access environment;- Good understanding and experience with pricing and reimbursement processes, health economics/outcomes research projects and management of tender processes including innovative contracting models;- Experience in both, private and public market access is mandatory;- Solid understanding of regulatory topics and business operations;- Track record of successful reimbursement negotiations for bio-pharmaceutical products (specialty - oncology, hematology, rare disease);- Experience in countries of responsibility;- Experience in leading, managing and building strong teams;Additional InformationWhy Biogen?Our mission to find therapies for neurological and rare diseases is a unique focus within our industry and this shared purpose is what connects us as a team.
